Meet the Mills & Sons Insurance Team

	Mitchell Mills, President & CEO Mitchell attended and graduated from Clinton High School. In 1983, he graduated from Drury College with a BA in Business Administration. In 1983 Mitchell returned to Clinton and joined his brother Milton and father Harry in the Agency. He was in charge of operations and service from 1988 to 1997. Mitchell became President in 1997 and the sole owner in 1998. Over the years, Mitchell has been a director of Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Twin Lakes Hospice, United Way, Clinton School Committee 2000, Clinton Rotary Club, and Clinton Main Street. Currently he is State National Director for the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents and serves on the Board of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Association. He is also a director for First National Bank, Pathways Community Behavioral Healthcare, Inc as well as a member of the, Clinton Rotary Club, Masons, Scottish Rite Shrine and Elks Club.
Sales
	Tami S. Brown, CIC Tami left our agency in October of 2000 after moving to the Carthage area. Tami worked as a Benefits Specialist for a firm in Carthage, Missouri prior to rejoining the Mills & Sons team in June 2002. At Mills & Sons, Tami is responsible for life, health, and employee benefits sales and service, as well as the overall management of the Employee Benefits department. She works with existing and prospective clients to evaluate their needs regarding health insurance coverage. She reviews and updates coverages and negotiates changes to limit plan costs. Tami is a member of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents, Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, the Southwest Missouri Association of Independent Insurance Agents. She is also a member of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce. Tami received her Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 2005.
	Parker Mills, CIC Parker graduated from Clinton High School in 2003. He then earned a BS in Business Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia in December of 2006. Upon graduation, Parker took a job with Allied Insurance in Des Moines, Iowa. Parker returned home and joined Mills and Sons in July of 2008. He is eager to carry on the family name by joining his uncle, Mitchell Mills, and actively participating in all aspects of the business. Parker obtained his insurance license in September of 2005. Currently he is a member of the Clinton Elks lodge, Ducks Unlimited, Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, and various other community functions.
	David Walker, CIC A native of Clinton, Missouri, David graduated from CMSU in 1967 receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He has served on the board of United Way, the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, chaired the G.S. Wetzel Memorial Boy Scouts of America Golf Tournament, a member of the Clinton Rotary Club, and past president of the Club. David began his insurance career in 1968 holding several positions including Personal Lines Underwriter, Claims Adjuster Trainee, Subrogation, Underwriting Manager, Commercial Lines Underwriting Supervisor, Field Agent and Marketing Representative. In 1979, David joined Mills & Sons, Inc. For the last 29 years, he has been responsible for sales and production, primarily commercial and farm accounts. David received the Insurance Institute of America (IIA) certificate in 1979 and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1984. He served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents. He continues to be active in the State Agents Association serving on various committees. David also served on an Agents Advisory Council for St. Paul Insurance Companies.
	Steve Myers Steve is a lifelong resident of Kansas City. He graduated from Kansas State University with a B.A. in Business Administration. Steve joined Mills in 1992 and formed Mills Insurance Services, Inc. with Mitchell Mills, operating in Overland Park, KS. Over the years, Steve has been a Boy Scout Leader, Little League Coach, a Director of the local YMCA, Big Brother & Sisters, Plaza Optimist Club and various other organizations.
	Teresa Bollenbach, CIC Teresa began her insurance career in 1988. She joined Mills Insurance in July 2008 and operates out of the Camdenton location at Lake of the Ozarks. Her primary focus being business insurance she can customize all insurance needs for any type of business. Teresa received her Certified Insurance Counselor Designation in 1994. She has served on a number of committees for the Missouri Independent Insurance Agents Association including Chairing the Young Agents Committee and most recently the Membership Committee. In 2000 she was awarded Young Agent of the year. Up until her position with us she was a member of the Board of Directors of Missouri Independent Insurance Agents. Teresa continues to serve on the Legislative Committee for the Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Dogwood Animal Shelter in Osage Beach.
	Keith Lucas Keith A. Lucas was raised in Wright City, Missouri, a small farming town west of the St. Louis metro area. Keith joined the Mills & Sons team in 2009 and operates out of the Osage Beach location at the Lake of the Ozarks. While serving with the Missouri Army National Guard as a combat medic in Iraq, Keith graduated via satellite from the University of Missouri- St. Louis with Bachelors of Arts in Communication. He also has an Associate of Arts degree in Mass Communication from St. Charles County Community College. Upon returning from Iraq, Keith worked as the marketing coordinator for a life insurance marketing organization located in Lake St. Louis, MO. In 2008, he relocated to the Lake of the Ozarks, with his wife and daughter. Keith obtained his life and health insurance license in 2005 and his property & casualty license in 2009. Personal Insurance
	Amanda (Mandy) Westendorff : Personal Lines Sales Manager Mandy was raised in Clinton where currently resides with her husband Cody. She attended and graduated from Clinton High School in 1997. Mandy then attended the Warrensburg Area Vo-Tech School of Cosmetology, where she graduated and received her license in Cosmetology. In 1998, Mandy began work at Hair Expressions, a local salon where she held a full service beautician's position until moving out of the area. In 2000, Mandy moved to Overland Park Kansas where she began work at Creative Marketing International Corporation. Here she assisted with the front desk and took care of all visiting consultants and agents. In June of 2001 Mandy moved back to Clinton and joined the Mills & Sons Agency as the receptionist. In December of 2001 she obtained her Insurance License and began assisting the Personal Lines Department. Mandy also worked in the Commercial Lines Department as a CSR until September of 2006 when she accepted the Personal Lines Sales Manager position where she is responsible for all new business quoting, policy issuance and marketing of prospective clients. Mandy is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents and Missouri Association of Insurance Agents.
	Kami McClendon, CIC, CISR : Personal Lines Service Manager Kami was raised in Deepwater where she currently resides with her husband John and daughter Hailey. In 1997, Kami began her career in bookkeeping and customer service before joining Mills & Sons in June of 2002. She received her Property & Casualty Producer License in July 2003, her CISR designation in February 2005, her Life & Health Producer License in July 2005, and most recently her CIC designation in April 2008. Kami is currently the Personal Lines Service Manager helping all current customers with their insurance needs. Kami is a member of the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents and Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America.
Business Insurance
	Natalie Sperry, CISR : Manager Natalie began her career in the insurance industry with Mills & Sons, Inc., in 1991. She is currently the commercial lines service manager. Prior to joining the Mills & Sons staff, she was a customer service supervisor for a label manufacturer in North Kansas City, Missouri for several years. She is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents and the Missouri Association of Insurance Agents. Natalie has completed her designation for Certified Insurance Service Representative. Natalie is a native of Clinton. She briefly moved to Northwest Missouri where she graduated from Hopkins High School as valedictorian of her class.
	Leta Blevins : Account Coordinator Leta has over 37 years of experience in Commercial Property Casualty Insurance. She spent 30 years working in Kansas City for Insurance Companies and Agencies ranked in the top 10 in the United States. Her experience has ranged from rating to management in Commercial Lines. After working six years in the Springfield area, Leta joined the staff at Mills & Sons Insurance in 2006.
	Stephanie Oberkrom : Account Coordinator Stephanie A. Oberkrom graduated from Clinton High School in 1998 and continued her education at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri.  After returning to Clinton in 2006, Stephanie began her career with Mills Insurance. Stephanie obtained her Property & Casualty Insurance License in June of 2007.  Stephanie has served as a Customer Service Representative in the Commercial Lines Department.  She currently holds the position as Account Representative in the Health & Life Department. Stephanie is a member of the Independent Agents and Brokers of America and Missouri Association of Insurance Agents.
	Carla Hill : Assistant Account Coordinator After living in Kansas City, MO for 5 years & attending Dickinson Business College, Carla moved back to the Golden Valley Area in 1992. She began work at Wetzel Clinic assisting Dr. Timothy Gabbert until 1995. Carla was the Missouri State Secretary for Ducks Unlimited from 1997-1999. She began her insurance career with Mills Insurance in January of 2000. Carla obtained her Insurance Agents License in February of 2001 and is currently a Commercial Lines Servicing Agent. In less than a year, she completed her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in April 2003. She has a wonderful 13 year old daughter who is busy with many activities & is a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church. She is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents, Missouri Association of Insurance Agents and the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representatives.
